Jesus-Level Miracles

On May 24, 2026 Elon Musk posted on X (formerly Twitter) that "Neuralink is a much bigger breakthrough than most people realise. Enabling people to control a computer with their mind and the completely blind to see are Jesus-level miracles". Neuralink is Elon Musk's neurotechnology company that develops implantable brain-computer interfaces. The coin-sized device, called the "N1 Implant" or "the Link", is surgically embedded into the skull to read, interpret, and stimulate brain activity.

On May 18, 2026 Musk made a remote appearance at the 9th Samson Smart Mobility Summit in Tel Aviv, Israel . He told those in attendance that "restoring control of people who are tetraplegics and restoring sight are pretty big deals. They're sort of what I might call Jesus-level technologies. I mean miracles in the scientific sense". Since I've been legally blind since birth, Musk's claim to make blind eyes see, sort of like Jesus did, catches my attention.

You may say that God won't let these technological miracles go too far. I say He will. God created us in His likeness and image (Genesis 1:26) so we have pretty good creative abilities. God admitted to this when He confused our languages at Babel . "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them" (Genesis 11:6). I suggest that the common-coding language of our computerized culture is fast reversing what God did at Babel . Since the events of Genesis 3, humanity has aspired to be like God, or even replace Him as we try to undo, redo or improve on what He has done.

If you are a Biblical Prophetic Futurist, you probably believe in an end-time anti-Christ, the lawless one "who will exalt himself over everything that is called God ... proclaiming himself to be God" (2 Thessalonians 2:4). He exists "in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles" (2 Thessalonians 2:6).

Humanity's satanic inspired goal to replace God with itself will end in its extinction. Humanity, led by the Satan-embedded anti-Christ might well stand before God's throne hoping to dethrone Him, but "Jesus will overthrow him with the breath of His mouth and the splendor of His coming (2 Thessalonians 2:8).

Jesus-level miracles are the way of our future. Despite Musk's claim to believe in the teachings of Jesus, as he told Jordan Peterson in a July 23, 2024 interview, he, like many other cultural influencers, does not exhibit the fruit of the presence of the Holy Spirit in his life.

Deception that marks the end of this age is rampant today. Many claiming to be Christians are being seduced by cultural and political influencers who may support a few Christian values but live ungodly lives. These Christian claimers would easily be seduced by the Jesus-level deceptive miracles of those "false messiah's and false prophets who perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, the elect" (Mark 13:22). We should know that in the final analysis, God Himself "sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie" (2 Thessalonians 2:11) the lie being the anti-Christ is God (2 Thessalonians 2:4). Why does God send a spirit of delusion? It's because people "refuse to love the truth" (2 Thessalonians 2:10) which sounds familiar.

Years ago I gave up trying to figure out who the anti-Christ will be and when Jesus will return. I advise that we have a keen awareness of our political and cultural surroundings, or as Jesus said, "be always on the watch" (Luke 21:36). We must study the Bible, not just read it. It's meant to instruct us so we can be inspired to live what we learn. We do so as we get closer to Jesus and those He has placed us alongside in His body. Finally, "Seek first the Kingdom of God " (Matthew 6:33) not the kingdoms of men.
